Attorneys Alan F. Hamisch and Michelle Hurvitz Kaiser were part of a select group of Ave Maria School of Law alumni who traveled to Washington D.C. to be sworn into the bar of the Supreme Court of the United States on November 28, 2023.
On the day of admission, the admittees had breakfast at the Supreme Court, which was attended by Chief Justice John G. Roberts, Jr. who spoke to their small group. Following breakfast, the admittees were ushered into the courtroom, where Ave Maria School of Law Professor Bruce Connolly moved for their admission and read each of their names in front of the Court. Professor Connolly's motion was granted by Chief Justice John G. Roberts, Jr. and, after taking their oath, they were admitted into the Supreme Court of the United States Bar. Following admission, sitting just be behind counsel table, the admittees stayed for the two oral arguments before the Court that day.
Congratulations Attorney Hamisch and Attorney Kaiser on such a tremendous accomplishment!
